Substitute Rhys Browne marked his debut with a stoppage-time winner as Barnet snatched a 2-1 Vanarama National League victory over Altrincham at The Hive.
The summer signing nodded in to preserve the Bees’ 100 per cent home record this season after Harry Chapman had cancelled out Justin Amaluzor’s opener for the visitors.
Altrincham went ahead in the 14th minute when Amaluzor slotted in from Regan Linney’s cross for his first goal of the season.
Chapman equalised for Barnet 13 minutes later, running through on goal from Zak Brunt’s ball before scoring for the third home game in a row.
Altrincham’s Alex Newby and Chapman went close to giving their side the lead while Mark Shelton was denied by a stunning stop from visiting keeper Ethan Ross before Browne struck at the end.
