Ashley Nadesan hit Sutton’s late winner after they had let slip a two-goal lead in a 3-2 victory over bottom club Ebbsfleet.

Nadeson turned the ball home at the far post with 12 minutes left to clinch Sutton’s fourth league win of the season as Ebbsfleet slipped to a seventh defeat.

Will Davies fired Sutton into an early lead when through one-on-one with the goalkeeper and Jayden Harris put them 2-0 up early in the second period with a low shot from the edge of the penalty area.

Ebbsfleet pulled one back through former Leeds forward Dominic Poleon five minutes later and Franklin Domi hauled the visitors level in the 67th minute.

But Nadeson’s close-range winner from Eduino Vaz’s pinpoint cross proved to be the winner after Sutton goalkeeper Steve Arnold denied Poleon in stoppage time.
