Chesterfield dropped points at home again as the National League promotion hopefuls were held 1-1 by lowly Yeovil.
The Spireites, who had failed to win any of their last four home games, dominated from the start and only a terrific save from Grant Smith denied Laurence Maguire an early opener.
They took the lead in the 35th minute when Jamie Reckord handled in the area and Paul McCallum made no mistake from the penalty spot.
But Yeovil levelled two minutes before the break when Jordan Young’s ball in behind the home defence was headed in by Ryan Law.
Smith saved from Maguire and McCallum in a low-key second half as Yeovil held on to edge four points clear of the relegation zone, while the hosts slipped six points behind third-placed Woking.
