Doncaster roared back to winning ways on home soil with a comfortable 3-1 Sky Bet League Two triumph over Tranmere.
Grant McCann’s side had not won at home in the league since the start of October but were in a ruthless mood as goals from Joseph Olowu, Patrick Kelly and Kyle Hurst saw them triumph.
Tranmere found a late consolation through substitute Sol Solomon and finished the game with 10 men after skipper Tom Davies was dismissed for two bookable offences on 54 minutes.
The visitors started the better but Doncaster established control midway through the first half. The deadlock was broken on 39 minutes when Olowu looped in a header from a Jay McGrath knockback.
After Davies’ dismissal, Doncaster extended their lead after 66 minutes when West Ham loanee Kelly collected the ball in the box and powered a finish into the corner.
And substitute Hurst struck after 78 minutes with a confident finish after collecting George Broadbent’s through ball.
Solomon drilled in on the angle to reduce the deficit for Tranmere but they were well beaten.
