Dorking boost survival bid with third straight win
Dorking pulled further clear of the National League relegation zone after a 2-0 victory at Dagenham made it three wins in a row.
Dagenham had a great chance to take the lead after 16 minutes but Inih Effiong fired over the bar from inside the six-yard box.
Myles Weston also missed a good opportunity for the hosts when he headed Sydney Ibie’s cross over from close range after 35 minutes.
Dorking had more of the match after the break, with Daggers goalkeeper Josh Strizovic forced into a smart save before Wanderers took the lead on 66 minutes. Dagenham failed to clear a corner and the ball broke to Jason Prior, who fired home from close range.
Substitute Harry Ottaway sealed the win 11 minutes from time, picking out the bottom corner after the hosts again failed to clear the danger inside their area.
