Eastleigh ended their three-month wait for a National League home win by beating Maidenhead 1-0 at Silverlake Stadium.

Guadeloupe-born defender Ludwig Francillette smashed in the game’s only goal after 16 minutes following excellent work from Tyrese Shade.

Francillette came within inches of adding another just after half-time when he stretched to meet a cross and shook the crossbar.

Tyrese Dyce, Sam Barratt and Reece Smith failed to take late chances for Maidenhead, who remain in the relegation zone after winning once in 10 games.
