Forest Green struck a stoppage-time winner to beat 10-man Yeovil 2-1 and climb into second spot in the National League.

Mid-table Yeovil had not won in three games but were ahead after 38 minutes through Kofi Shaw.

The Glovers looked on course for an away-day success, but Shaw saw red for a second bookable offence in the box 15 minutes before the end.

Kyle McAllister tucked away the 76th-minute penalty and Rovers pressed for the winner in the final stages.

It arrived in the fourth minute of stoppage time as Harry Cardwell’s header was saved by Ollie Wright and the rebound was dispatched by Ryan Inniss from close range.
