Substitute Kwame Thomas’s stoppage-time equaliser completed a remarkable late fightback and handed bottom-of-the-table Ebbsfleet a 2-2 National League draw with Wealdstone.
The home side started brightly with Dominic Poleon forcing an important 10th-minute block from Mason Barrett after Franklin Domi had picked him out.
However, it proved a testing opening 45 minutes for the visitors, who lost both Craig Eastmond and Barrett to injury before the break, but got there with the game still goalless.
The deadlock was broken 12 minutes into the second half when the home defence failed to deal with a corner and Sam Ashford fired home at the far post, and Alex Reid doubled Wealdstone’s advantage with a 70th-minute header.
But Aaron Cosgrave pulled one back with four minutes remaining and Thomas snatched a point at the death to deny the visitors back-to-back wins.
