Falkirk’s lead at the summit of the Scottish Championship was cut to eight points by a 1-0 defeat at title rivals Livingston.

The hosts left it late to snatch victory with substitute Andrew Shinnie pouncing in the 89th minute to lift his side into second place.

Aidan Connolly stepped off the bench to fire a dramatic equaliser one minute into stoppage time in Raith Rovers’ 3-3 draw with Greenock Morton at Cappielow.

Jamie Gullan struck twice in the first 20 minutes as Rovers surged 2-0 ahead, but the home side hit back with goals from Nathan Shaw, Cameron Blues and Tomi Adeloye before Connolly late intervention.
