Oldham got their National League promotion push back on track with a 3-1 victory at Sutton.

Latics saw a four-match winning streak and eight-match unbeaten run in the league ended by a 3-2 home loss to Solihull last time out but victory at Sutton moved them to within four points of leaders Barnet.

The visitors took an 18th-minute lead at the VBS Community Stadium when leading scorer Mike Fondop-Talum headed in Mark Kitching’s cross for his sixth goal of the campaign.

Sutton levelled straight after half-time through Will Davies, who pounced after the ball had come back off the woodwork, but Oldham would not be denied and Charlie Raglan’s header quickly restored their lead before James Norwood nodded home in stoppage time to wrap things up for Micky Mellon’s side.
