St Etienne took a surprise early lead through Lucas Stassin’s header, but PSG levelled before the break through Goncalo Ramos’ penalty and ran riot in the second half to edge closer to a fourth straight domestic crown and their 11th in the last 13 years.
Teenager Desire Doue fired a second-half double and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Joao Neves and 17-year-old Ibrahim Mbaye were also on the scoresheet as PSG equalled AC Milan’s all-time record for Europe’s top five leagues of 38 away league games without defeat.

Monaco climbed up to second as their 2-1 home win over fourth-placed Nice put PSG’s title celebrations on ice.
Nice led at the break through Jeremie Boga, but second-half goals from Mika Biereth and Breel Embolo ensured victory. Nice skipper Dante was shown a straight card in added time.
Marseille slipped one place down to third after a 3-1 defeat at Reims, who boosted their survival hopes.
Goals from Keito Nakamura, Mamadou Diakhon and Valentin Atangana put Reims in control before Valentin Rongier’s late consolation for the visitors.
In LaLiga, Real Madrid moved level on points with leaders Barcelona thanks to Kylian Mbappe’s late winner in a 3-2 victory over Leganes.
