Raith Rovers kept in the race for a top-four play-off place in the William Hill Championship with a 2-0 Fife Derby victory over lowly Dunfermline.

Finlay Pollock raced on to Dylan Easton’s delicious through ball and rounded goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi to put Rovers ahead after 22 minutes.

Paul Hanlon doubled the lead with his first Raith goal, the veteran centre-back volleying home Jamie Gullan’s 56th-minute free-kick at the far post.

Raith are now four points behind fourth-placed Partick Thistle with eight games left to play.
