Reyes Cleary scored and added an assist as Hartlepool claimed a 4-1 home victory over Boston to end an eight-match winless streak.

Gary Madine opened the scoring for the hosts in the fourth minute from Cleary’s cross, but it was cancelled out by Jacob Hazel in the 20th minute.

Emmanuel Dieseruvwe fired Hartlepool back in front four minutes later and Cleary added his name to the scoresheet after the break.

Jamie Miley wrapped up the win with a goal of his own three minutes from time.
