Rhys Browne haunted his former club again as National League leaders Barnet continued their march towards promotion to the Football League with a 1-0 win at Woking.

Signed last summer from the Cards, Browne opened the scoring in a 2-0 victory for the Bees in the reverse fixture in November.

He was again on the scoresheet first as he fired into the bottom corner in the 27th minute as Barnet made it seven successive wins and extended their unbeaten streak to 23 games.

Lewis Walker had Woking’s best chance, shooting straight at Owen Evans, against a Barnet side keeping a fifth clean sheet in a row as they lost for the first time in seven matches.
