Tamworth clung on to defeat Aldershot 3-2 on Monday to clinch their first league victory of the season.
The hosts were ahead inside eight minutes when Jordan Cullinane-Liburd nodded home Kyle Finn’s corner before Jack Barham drew the sides level in the 32nd minute after he was played through by Dejan Tetek.
It took just five minutes after the break for Chris Wreh to restore Tamworth’s lead and midfielder Nathan Tshikuna added another with a brilliant effort from 20 yards in the 55th minute.
Aldershot clawed one back when James Henry sent a free-kick past Jasbir Singh in the 14th minute of stoppage time, but it was too little too late for the visitors.
