Yeovil ended their four-game Vanarama National League losing run with a 3-0 win at Solihull.

The Glovers – who reluctantly accepted Frank Nouble’s request to take up an approach by Gateshead – took the lead in the 28th minute through a low shot from Josh Sims.

Ciaran McGuckin turned in a second five minutes after the restart, with captain Alex Whittle then scoring a fine long-range volley in the 57th minute.

The home side almost grabbed a consolation in stoppage time when substitute Finley Holmes took the ball around Yeovil keeper Aidan Stone, but his shot was cleared off the line.
